Registered Nurse - Acute Care - MedSurg (Full-Time Days)

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - MedSurg, working day shifts. Responsibilities Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.Operate within a clinical environment supported by Nurse Managers and leadership, following the WellStar Shared Governance Model.Uphold the practice framework guided by the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing, evidence-based practice, and research.Ensure compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, Scope of Practice, and ANA Code of Ethics.Support system policies, uphold the voice of the patient, and promote service excellence. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.Current RN license in Georgia or practicing under the eNLC.Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Experience in direct patient care; national certification in specialty preferred.Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond decisively to emergencies, and demonstrate strong critical thinking and time management skills.
