About the role
Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Conducts assessments and develops and updates individualized care plans
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
- Ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement
- Delegates tasks appropriately and educates patients and families
- Advocates for patients and maintains accurate documentation
- Participates in performance improvement activities
- Incorporates cost-effective practices
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
- RN licensure
- At least one year of nursing experience or completion of a residency program
- LPN experience or nursing diploma with licensure may substitute
- Current multistate RN license
