Registered Nurse - Acute Care, Medical/Surgical, Full-Time, Days

About the Role

Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive assessments and develops/updates individualized care plans.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team and manages patient safety.
• Delegates tasks, monitors care quality, and evaluates outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Provides patient education and advocates for patients.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation and pursues professional development.
• Participates in direct patient care, care coordination, and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• Current RN license.
• At least one year of RN experience or completion of a residency program.
• LPN experience may be considered for internal candidates.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety, quality improvement, and effective communication.
• Maintains licensure and adheres to all policies and regulations.

Schedule

Day shift in a medical/surgical unit.
