Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and teaching.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire.
• Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Certifications/Licenses required: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing, and professional certifications to support a culture of nursing excellence.
