Registered Nurse - 6 South East: Med Surg / Renal Oncology - Full Time - Days

The 6 South East Medical / Surgical Unit at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital provides care for a diverse patient population with a wide variety of diagnoses, including renal and oncology cases. Responsibilities

- Coordinate and deliver quality, compassionate patient care. - Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide, delegate, and supervise care. - Communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. - Identify and implement solutions for deviations from patient goals.

Requirements

- Graduation from an accredited nursing school. - Enrollment in a BSN program within 3 years of hire. - Completion of a BSN within 5 years of hire. - Demonstrated clinical knowledge and analytical skills. - Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel. - Possession of current Michigan State Board of Nursing license. - Professional certifications to support a culture of nursing excellence.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred. - Experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred but not required.
