Responsibilities
Under the delegated authority of a registered nurse or provider, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) uses sound nursing judgment in provision of nursing care. Performs a variety of both technical and routine nursing services. Collaborates with health care team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the nursing care plan.
Requirements
Demonstrates clinical competence.
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing School
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
- Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect
- Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services

Qualifications
Certifications/Licenses Required:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Successful completion of HFHS pharmacology exam for the LPN
- Current BLS
