About the Role
EEG Technician specializing in routine and video EEGs, including epilepsy monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality EEGs per established guidelines
- Calibrate and adjust equipment
- Communicate with physicians regarding patient studies
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
- Assist with technical issues during remote monitoring
- Maintain equipment
- Teach and supervise staff and students
- Promote quality improvement and contribute to patient care excellence
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Neurodiagnostic certification (e.g., R. EEG T., CNIM)
- BLS certification
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret EEGs and identify seizures
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Supervision
Non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.
