About the Role

EEG Technician specializing in routine and video EEGs, including epilepsy monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality EEGs per established guidelines
• Calibrate and adjust equipment
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient studies
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
• Assist with technical issues during remote monitoring
• Maintain equipment
• Teach and supervise staff and students
• Promote quality improvement and contribute to patient care excellence

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Neurodiagnostic certification (e.g., R. EEG T., CNIM)
• BLS certification
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to interpret EEGs and identify seizures
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Supervision

Non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.
