About the role
Performs high-quality EEGs, including routine, video, and epilepsy monitoring, ensuring accurate study completion and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Conducts EEGs per ACNS guidelines
- Calibrates and maintains equipment
- Communicates with physicians and recognizes life-threatening situations
- Contributes to staff morale and quality improvement initiatives
- Teaches staff and students as needed
- Takes rotating call and assumes responsibility for designated procedures
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Neurodiagnostic certification (e.g., R. EEG T.) required
- BLS certification
- Experience preferred but not required
