Responsibilities

As the Part-Time Registered Dietitian (RD), you will assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on:

• Nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation
• Nutritional intake and consumption patterns
• Food/drug interactions
• Therapeutic diets
• Overall customer satisfaction

Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian License
• 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition

Nice to Have

• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)

Compensation for this role varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and level of experience. We provide a reasonable pay scale, including the hourly or salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this role.
