Responsibilities
As the Part-Time Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including:
- Lab value interpretation
- Nutritional intake and consumption patterns
- Food/drug interactions
- Therapeutic diets
- Overall customer satisfaction
Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian License.
- 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
- Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
Nice to Have
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
Pay
$55.00 per hour.
