Registered Dietitian - Outpatient - Full-Time - Days

About the role

Seeking a registered dietitian to develop and implement pediatric nutrition therapy plans, evaluate outcomes, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide age-specific counseling
• Monitor growth and biochemical data, adjusting nutrition plans accordingly
• Document nutrition plans and patient understanding
• Prepare specialized formulas and collaborate with foodservice, case management, and social work to ensure resource availability
• Educate patients and families using evidence-based guidelines and instructional tools
• Manage outpatient and inpatient care communication via electronic systems
• Demonstrate professional growth and participate in quality improvement
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics (Master’s preferred)
• Licensure as a Dietitian-Nutritionist and RD certification
• Knowledge of pediatric nutrition, growth metrics, and formularies
• Critical thinking and effective communication skills
• Ability to function independently and perform physical activities such as lifting and standing
