Registered Dietitian

Employer: Central Peninsula Hospital

Salary Range: $39.99/hr – $45.71/hr (DOE). Starting Date: Immediate.

Position Summary

The Inpatient Registered Dietitian plans, coordinates and participates in the nutritional care process of the inpatient population, assuring that quality nutritional care is provided. The dietitian coordinates with food service staff, nursing and medical staff to ensure patient needs are understood and diet‑related physician orders are followed. The role also provides coverage for the outpatient dietitian as needed, participates in quality‑improvement programs, and engages in the Joint Commission process with the Chief Nursing Officer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition.
• Successful completion of a dietetic internship; registration with the American Dietetic Association required.
• Alaska licensure required at time of hire.
• Preferred: minimum of one year related work experience.
