About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join TriStar Skyline Medical Center, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. The TriStar Food & Nutrition Registered Dietitian will be an experienced and competent dietetic professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher who is responsible for the assessment, intervention implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of patients through the Nutrition Care Process. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees. TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 350+ bed facility. We are Tennessee's first comprehensive stroke center, a state designated Level 1 Trauma Center and a national leader in neuroscience. In addition, we are equipped with 3 helipads, new ICU and Medical/Surgical floors, and burn care services. We offer a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program, an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and serves the North Nashville community as a leading provider of emergency heart care. Responsibilities

• You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served by his/her discipline.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• You will demonstrate knowledge to assess, plan, and evaluate care in coordination with the health care team across the continuum.
• You will provide quality food for all customers in a sanitary work environment.

Qualifications

• (RD/RDN) Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist
• (RD-STATE) Registered Dietitian - State must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Bachelor’s Degree
