Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center
• Advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction
• Ensure optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian License
• 3-5 years' experience in an acute or long-term care environment
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition

• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
