About the role
We are hiring a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team. The position offers a salary range of $47.00 – $51.00 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center.
- Advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on residents’ nutritional status, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian License.
- 3–5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
- Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
