Registered Dietitian (RD) – Long-Term Care Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center Roswell, NM Full-Time or Part-Time Position Summary Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary team. This role is responsible for overseeing the nutritional care of residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while supporting resident-centered care. Key Responsibilities Complete nutrition assessments for all new admissions, readmissions, and significant changesDevelop and update individualized nutrition care plansMonitor weight trends, intake, and nutritional statusProvide recommendations and interventions for:Weight loss/gainWound healingMalnutritionSpecialized dietsCollaborate with:NursingProvidersDietary staffInterdisciplinary team (IDT)Participate in:Care conferencesQAPI initiativesSurvey readiness and compliance activitiesEnsure compliance with:CMS regulationsState guidelinesFacility policiesReview and support:Menu complianceTherapeutic diet accuracyFood service practices Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential requiredLicensed in the State of New Mexico (or eligible)Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferredStrong understanding of:CMS regulationsNutrition support in elderly populationWound care nutritionExcellent communication and documentation skills Why Join Spring River?
