Responsibilities
As the Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on:
- Nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation.
- Nutritional intake and consumption patterns.
- Food/drug interactions and therapeutic diets.
- Overall customer satisfaction.
Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.
Requirements
- Must have a Registered Dietitian License.
- 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
- Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
Nice to Have
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
Pay
Competitive salary range: $$-$$ per year. Compensation varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
