Registered Dietitian

USD $40.00 - USD $45.00 per hour. The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including skill sets, experience, education, training, licensure, certifications, and business and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for residents/patients in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in coordination with the Dietary Services Director.
• Work with the Administrator to ensure quality food service and nutritional care is provided at all times.
• Conduct diet therapy and nutrition counseling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in dietetics or a related field, as required by regulation.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) with current state licensure.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Training in diet therapy and nutrition counseling.
• Reliable source of transportation.
