Registered Dietitian

About the role

The Registered Dietitian (RD) at DaVita will be a vital member of each patient’s core care team. They will analyze lab-work results and educate patients and their families on what to eat accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients and their families in an outpatient setting
• Support patients at various Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Dialysis locations
• Collaborate with the patient’s core care team
• Lead and influence patients towards better health outcomes

Requirements

• 1+ year of CLINICAL Registered Dietitian experience
• State licensure required if available in the state where the facility is located
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
• Ability to work flexible schedules and travel when needed
• Successfully complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days

Pay

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.

Schedule

The RD can work a hybrid schedule, but must be located in the Phoenix metro area. The number of days on-site may vary. It is likely to be about two days/week from home and three days on-site meeting with patients at our Arizona Skilled Nursing Facility Dialysis locations.
