About the role
Location: Wichita, KS • Facility: Ascension Living HOPE • Department: Nutrition Services
Responsibilities
- Assess patients for nutritional status.
- Provides interventions/treatments including diet therapy, counseling or specialized nutrition supplements.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing and ancillary services such as speech pathology or physical therapy.
- Monitor tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional regimen and recommends therapy adjustments as necessary.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and evaluates effectiveness of treatments.
- Assist in monitoring meals including intake, diet compliance and tray accuracy.
Requirements
- Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- BLS Provider preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- Educator specializing in Diabetes Management preferred.
Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Pay
Salary range: $57,328.70 - $83,843.23 per year
