About the role
The Registered Clinical Dietitian at PAM Health is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Key functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs, participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs, and assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
Responsibilities
- Routinely visiting patients to assess and adjust their dietary needs
- Counseling patients on nutritional needs and health improvement
- Participating in hospital, patient, and community educational programs
- Maintaining the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan
Requirements
- Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics
- 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Rehabilitation experiences a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field
- Current registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Valid state license to practice Dietetics
