About the role

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by Medical Staff. Duties include routinely visiting patients, counseling those with nutritional needs, participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs, and assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages according to medical prescriptions.
• Visit patients regularly and provide nutritional counseling.
• Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
• Assist with maintaining the department’s Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed by the state in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• Preferred: 3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Rehabilitation experience is a plus.
