About the role

The Place for Children with Autism is seeking energetic, committed Behavior Therapists to join our team. Our mission is to help children with autism thrive through personalized therapy and support.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children aged 2-8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Implement individualized therapy programs designed by BCBAs
• Collect data and participate in team discussions about progress and strategy
• Engage children using play, movement, and laughter to promote skill-building and growth
• Partner with clients and families to celebrate wins, solve challenges, and support growth

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Accessible to reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to travel to other clinics as needed

Qualifications

• High School or Associate’s Degree: $17.05 – $23.00 per hour, with $1.00 per hour increases every six months (based on your starting level at hire).
• Master’s Degree: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour.
