About the role

At Butterfly Effects, we are seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our team. This permanent part-time opportunity allows you to make a full-time impact on a child's life by teaching essential skills in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

  • Teach young children affected by autism through play-based activities in their natural environment.
  • Assist families in developing communication, sharing, playing, and waiting skills.
  • Provide training to all staff to ensure they feel confident in the skills required to instruct children affected by autism.
  • Work with clients in their natural environments, potentially lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma.
  • Active RBT Certification with Medicaid credentials.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
  • Auto Insurance listing your name as an insured driver.
  • Web-enabled device (laptop or tablet).
  • Minimum 5 days of consistent availability for at least 6 months, Monday through Friday from 12-6pm.
  • A positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.

Qualifications

  • Passion for working with children.
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) field.

Benefits

We offer competitive compensation with a range of $20-23 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications in the ABA field. Additional benefits include drive-time pay between sessions.
