About the role
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provide ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, under the direction of their supervising BCBA. Responsibilities include monitoring client behavior, collecting and reporting data, and collaborating with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful behavior changes.
Responsibilities
- Implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior.
- Provide ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills.
- Monitor client behavior and collect data on client behavior.
- Report data back to supervising BCBA.
- Work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) – REQUIRED.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families, including experience with adolescents requiring comprehensive level care – REQUIRED.
- Availability to work early afternoon hours (e.g., 1:30–4:00 PM) – REQUIRED.
- Ability to travel to areas of Boston in the South Boston/Seaport District.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Compassionate approach to care.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available).
- Access to a laptop or CPS, high-speed secure internet, and a phone – REQUIRED.

Pay
