Job Summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a RBT to join our growing team!

Position Type

Part Time hours Fee For Service Position

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA
• Monitor client behavior
• Collect data on client behavior
• Report data back to supervising BCBA
• Work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) - REQUIRED
• Minimum of 5 years of experience - REQUIRED (Working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families, and experience working with adolescents requiring comprehensive level care)
• Availability to work early afternoon hours (e.g.1:30-4:00) -REQUIRED
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A compassionate approach to care
