About the role
Provide home and center-based ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapy to children with autism across the United States as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role takes place directly in the homes of children with autism.
Responsibilities
- Implement unique, one-to-one behavioral intervention plans
- Participate in continued staff training on ABA techniques
- Maintain regular communication with supervisory staff
- Operate under the supervision of a BCBA
- Be available for weekday and weekend sessions
- Collect therapy session data
Requirements
- Active RBT certification (required)
- Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, ABA principles, and crisis management techniques
- Strong adaptability and ability to respond quickly to situations
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with BCBAs, educators, and school staff
- 1 year minimum of ABA experience
- BA in related field or undergraduates in pursuit of relevant education
