About the role
Applied ABC provides home and center-based ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapy to children with autism across the United States. We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), delivering one-to-one behavioral intervention directly in the homes of children with autism.
Responsibilities
- Implement unique, one-to-one behavioral intervention plans
- Participate in continued staff training on ABA techniques
- Maintain regular communication with supervisory staff
- Operate under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide weekday and weekend availability
- Collect therapy session data
Requirements
- Active RBT certification (required)
- 1 year minimum of ABA experience
- Experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities, preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, ABA principles, and crisis management techniques
- Strong adaptability and the ability to respond quickly to shifting student and classroom needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with BCBAs, educators, and school staff
- BA in related field or undergraduates in pursuit of relevant education
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AAC and functional communication
