Registered Behavior Technician

About the role

Applied ABC provides home and center-based ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapy to children with autism across the United States. We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), delivering one-to-one behavioral intervention directly in the homes of children with autism.

Responsibilities

• Implement unique, one-to-one behavioral intervention plans
• Participate in continued staff training on ABA techniques
• Maintain regular communication with supervisory staff
• Operate under the supervision of a BCBA
• Provide weekday and weekend availability
• Collect therapy session data

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (required)
• 1 year minimum of ABA experience
• Experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities, preferably in a school setting
• Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, ABA principles, and crisis management techniques
• Strong adaptability and the ability to respond quickly to shifting student and classroom needs
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with BCBAs, educators, and school staff
• BA in related field or undergraduates in pursuit of relevant education

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AAC and functional communication
