Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Amaze ABA Therapy - Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland.

About The Role

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design and implement individualized treatment plans for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions to children, ages 2-12, in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions to children with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Implement behavioral interventions and strategies designed by BCBAs
• Track client progress and maintain accurate records of sessions
• Provide feedback to BCBAs and families on client progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBAs, occupational therapists, and speech therapists
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay current with best practices in ABA therapy

Requirements

• Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move quickly to ensure client safety
