Regional Technology Manager

Description The RTO Manager runs a Regional Technology Office as its own business: winning new work, estimating it, and delivering it profitably. This is a combined sales and operations leadership role. The manager is responsible for the office's revenue, margin, and customer relationships, and leads a team of project managers and field technicians. The right candidate has hands-on experience across our full range of services, including structured cabling (copper and fiber), access control, and video surveillance (CCTV). They can walk a site, scope the work, build the estimate, close the deal, and make sure the job is installed right. Estimating support is available, but our most successful RTO Managers prepare many of their own bids. · Find and develop new leads through networking, cold outreach, general contractor and end-user relationships, industry events, and referrals. · Bring on new customers and grow revenue from existing accounts by identifying additional work, service agreements, and follow-on projects. · Build and manage a sales pipeline that supports the office's revenue targets, and keep the CRM current. · Represent the company in customer meetings, site walks, bid reviews, and presentations. · Negotiate contracts, change orders, and pricing within company guidelines. Skills manage projects, low voltage, budget management, customer accounts, project leadership, structure cabling, officer manager, leadership communication, access control, cctv systems, fiber optic Top Skills Details manage projects,low voltage,budget management,customer accounts,project leadership,structure cabling Additional Skills & Qualifications · Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFQs. · Able to build accurate estimates for material, labor, and equipment independently. · Strong written and verbal communication, including writing proposals and presenting to customers. · Comfortable with CRM, estimating, and project management software, plus Microsoft Office. · Organized and able to balance selling, estimating, and running the office at the same time. · BICSI RCDD or Technician certification. · Manufacturer certifications for access control and video platforms (for example Avigilon, Genetec, Lenel, Software House, Axis). · Fiber certifications such as FOA CFOT. · A state low-voltage, alarm, or electrical contractor license, or the ability to obtain one. · An existing network of general contractors, end users, and facility managers in the region. · Experience with enterprise, multi-site, or national-account customers, including logistics, industrial, healthcare, or government facilities.
