Regional Service Line Director of Oncology
About the role
Responsible for bringing associated business lines and services (SHS and collaborating entities) together to create a safe and seamless patient experience across the continuum of care. Has direct reporting responsibility for identified business lines plus dotted-line leadership of associated services with key partnership with SMG. Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and maintaining strategic initiatives and future planning to ensure SHS provides appropriate, high-quality, and state-of-the-art care in an effective and efficient manner.
Department
The Samaritan Cancer Resource Centers partner with anyone touched by cancer to provide the support needed to live with strength, determination, and hope into the future. Services are provided to patients, caregivers, families, and loved ones.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives and future planning for service lines.
- Manage direct and dotted-line reporting responsibilities.
- Collaborate with physicians and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee budgeting, strategic planning, and healthcare administration.
- Initiate and manage multi-disciplinary projects and work groups.
Requirements
- One of the following:
- Master’s degree in a management or health-related field plus five (5) years of experience in service line or healthcare operations leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in a management or health-related field plus seven (7) years of experience in service line or healthcare operations leadership.
- Five (5) years of staff supervision experience.
- Three (3) years of experience working with physicians in a supervisory or collaborative setting.
- Healthcare administration experience, including strategic planning, budgeting, and physician collaboration.
