About the Role

The Service Line Executive Director supports the Outpatient Oncology Service Line in facilitating the implementation of business strategies related to either a single or multiple service lines. The Director leads multidisciplinary teams in executing strategies for the service line’s success and supports its regionalization across the health ministry. Responsibilities include ensuring excellent patient care, driving development and growth, tracking high-quality outcomes, reducing variation for cost-effective performance, and increasing volume/market share. The role also involves setting strategic direction, implementing short- and long-term goals, and fostering continuous improvements for a superior patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of business strategies for the Outpatient Oncology Service Line.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in executing service line strategies.
  • Ensure regionalization of the service line across the health ministry.
  • Guarantee excellent care for all patients seeking treatment or services.
  • Drive the development, implementation, and growth of the service line.
  • Deploy and track methods to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Reduce variation to achieve cost-effective performance.
  • Increase volume and market share across the continuum of care.
  • Participate in setting strategic direction and implementing short- and long-term goals.
  • Facilitate continuous improvements for a superior patient experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or nursing; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a leadership role within a hospital or physician medical group, preferably in an integrated health system.
