Duties & Responsibilities

  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by analyzing the type of customer.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses and budgets.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Solves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to customers based on lab recommendations.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to travel 70% overnight throughout the territory.

Education & Experience

  • Eight to ten years in manufacturing sales or related market space.
  • Good technical adhesive knowledge and can communicate adhesive issues to the Evans lab and manufacturing when needed is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales objectives.
  • Proven ability to secure new business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
