About The Role
Our client, a leader in the building products sector, seeks a motivated sales professional to expand their presence across NC, SC, and Northern GA. This role is ideal for a driven individual who excels in a home office setting and is passionate about exceeding sales targets. This person should be located within the territory, and have the ability to travel 2-3 nights per week within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass sales goals while securing new accounts within the territory.
- Strategically plan and execute field sales calls to optimize territory coverage.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers to foster relationships and present product offerings.
- Prepare quotes and ensure timely follow-up to meet customer expectations.
- Engage with distributors and lumberyards to expand market reach.
Qualifications
- Must have experience in building materials.
- At least 3 years in outside sales, with a preference for 5 years.
- Proficiency in CRM systems.
- Demonstrated success as a proactive sales 'hunter.'
- Willingness to travel within the territory 3 days a week, including 2 overnight stays.
