About the role
We are seeking a skilled and results-oriented Regional Account Manager to join our client's team. This position is pivotal in managing and expanding the customer base in the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to meet sales goals and expand the company's presence in the region.
- Identify and engage with new potential customers, exploring opportunities to introduce the company's advanced machinery solutions.
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Cover detailed product demonstrations, explaining the benefits and features of the company's machinery.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
- Provide regular updates and sales reports to senior management, including forecasts and market analysis.
- Be prepared to travel frequently within the region for client meetings, trade shows, and on-site visits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, particularly in the industrial machinery or related sector.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
