The Regional Sales Manager - NorthEast role at World Centric is remote and open to candidates residing in major metropolitan areas of MA, DE, RI.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a humble, consultative, educational approach.
- Make effective, fact-based presentations.
- Avoid embellishing.
- Demonstrate the ability to establish rapport and influence others, both externally and internally.
- Independently and in collaboration with leadership: effectively research and plan targeted market strategy, key account opportunities, regional financial assessments, and executable market plan.
- Broker strategy, including but not limited to: determining use of broker partners if applicable, daily interactions to support sales growth, training, reporting, in-field support, reviewing the success of attaining set goals, and overall market growth.
- Drive new product placements with existing customers, operators, chains and distributors while also securing new accounts.
- Offer outstanding service and support to existing customers, which entails education, training, order fulfillment, quality control and accounts receivable.
- Synchronous partnership across internal stakeholders to include Account Manager, RSM’s, Forecasting/Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Product Development and leadership.
- Effectively train, support and work with distribution reps, offering general support, account presentations, brand expertise, and enabling them for success through leading by example.
- Set goals, independently track your progress, communicate results, hold self-accountable for desired results.
- Provide accurate demand forecasting in Netsuite by following up on leads, creating opportunities, moving them through stage gate to resolution. When Closed/Won, provide accurate case volume projections and timing.
- Utilize NetSuite CRM tool to create and update customer records and correspondences, tasks and sales related activities.
- Maintain awareness of regional conditions and competitive intelligence. Effectively communicate findings across the organization.
- Support industry and customer events (e.g. trade-shows, conferences, sales meetings).
- Cross-functional support other RSM’s in their regions, as requested.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience with demonstrated success in regional sales.
- Experience in the foodservice industry with large operators, chains, and distributors.
- Experience selling disposable packaging is a plus but not required.
- Candidates who have worked with suppliers selling into foodservice accounts will be given priority.
- Previous broker management is nice to have.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Ability to establish rapport, trust and strong business relationships, at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills. Ability to provide detailed, accurate, thorough information.
- Experience with CRM, leads/sales management systems.
- Strong computer and systems skills, demonstrate engagement.
Qualifications
- Must reside within the assigned region and be able to travel comfortably within the region. Occasional overnights required for tradeshows, distributor and broker meetings, business reviews, etc.
- Use of personal vehicle (expense reimbursement offered).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Pay
$110,000 - $135,000, depending on Experience.
