Regional Sales Manager Medical Supply

JOB PURPOSE

The Regional Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving the sales performance of the Medical Sales Account Managers within a targeted region. They will create and execute a sales strategy to focus on delivering maximum sales, growth, and profitability by building relationships and/or expanding current relationships with the rehab facilities and potential catheter referrals in their region. Their goal is to drive revenue growth and market penetration in their assigned region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Measure and monitor the performance of their regional MSAM business on a weekly basis; make data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports and analyses, setting forth progress, and adverse trends and makes recommendations; Implements improvement initiatives as appropriate.
  • Establish, foster, and maintain rapport and working relationships with direct reports through holding yourself accountable to frequent ride-a-longs and 1:1's with your team.
  • Lead team members to be accountable by assessing competency, capacity and performance; help influence their success as measured by their results.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth within the region.
  • Represent Numotion at conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
  • Achieve quarterly sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales-Urology to create a synergy between direct reports and the Operations side of the business.
  • Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform the job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission.
  • Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations.
  • Always provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience.
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of management/leadership experience.
  • Experience in healthcare.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to act as a “change agent” or “change embracer” within a rapidly changing environment.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management.
  • Experience in CRT or DME industry.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers associated with using computer equipment.
  • Prolonged periods of time working at a desk and/or on a computer.
  • Occasionally move and reach with arms and hands.
  • Able to travel approximately 75% of the time
