About the role
The Regional Sales Manager for Residential Products is responsible for driving sustainable business growth within the assigned territory by building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, dealers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with distributors, dealers, consultants, specifiers, and internal stakeholders
- Act as a collaborative partner to distributors by aligning territory strategies with shared business objectives
- Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and leadership teams to support and execute company priorities
- Serve as a visible and engaged representative of the company within the territory, reinforcing brand values and commitment to partnership
- Drive sales growth by partnering with distributors and dealers to identify opportunities, expand market presence, and increase demand
- Develop and execute effective business plans with each distributor to support revenue growth and long-term success
- Identify short- and long-term growth opportunities through market and industry analysis within the assigned territory
- Maintain an awareness of competitive activity, including product offerings, pricing, and promotional strategies, and share insights to inform decision-making
- Support distributor and dealer performance through ongoing engagement, coaching, and product training
- Achieve assigned territory sales targets through disciplined planning, execution, and relationship management
- Partner with marketing and sales leadership to provide input into short- and long-term marketing strategies
- Contribute to the development of the annual strategic marketing plan and territory sales forecast by distributor
- Develop and manage the territory sales and marketing budget, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Forecast sales accurately and manage expenses within the approved annual budget
- Complete required administrative responsibilities, including monthly activity reporting, itineraries, expense reports, and account profiles
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation that supports transparency, planning, and performance tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years residential appliance sales experience dealing with high-end specialty brands and distribution channels
Skills
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of the residential appliance market, distribution channels, distributor management, and service networks
- Demonstrated ability in strategic and tactical thinking, market analysis, decision-making, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a broader team
