About the role
The Regional Manager Business Solutions contributes to Astound’s success by leading and cultivating a strong sales team to deliver new incremental customer relationships. This role is a critical component of the overall growth plan to deliver on revenue and net gains.
Responsibilities
- Sources, trains, and deploys solutions sales strategies for Astound Business voice, data, and video services.
- Demonstrates knowledge on the latest pricing, product changes, and service processes to provide the best in customer experience and stays abreast of local competition.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on all systems and tools used by the sales channel, including billing systems, reporting structures, and CRM tools.
- Provides regular updates to Enterprise Account Executives via weekly team meetings to ensure team members are well-informed and able to set the proper expectations when selling and acquiring new customers.
- Focuses on daily activities to understand team member performance against bi-weekly targets. Reviews overall team performance to track achievement to monthly new customer budgeted sales progress.
- Collaborates with counterparts across the region in the development/creation of new sales incentives and recognition opportunities.
- Conducts one-on-one coaching, including field ride-alongs, documenting productivity, and ensuring consistent performance management.
- Maintains budgeted headcount, working with recruiting to source candidates and conduct interviews.
- Ensures the team maintains a neat appearance, presents itself professionally to internal/external customers.
- Understands and follows all company safety standards and practices, including accident reporting procedures.
- Understands and follows applicable OSHA and National Electric Safety Code rules and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: College degree or high school diploma; equivalent combination of education and sales experience.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in leadership/supervisory roles in a commercial, enterprise, sales, and/or business environment.
- Proven record of delivering above expected performance from sales teams.
- Highly productive and prioritizes multiple tasks to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
- Effectively works and communicates with other workgroups.
- Facilitates a harmonious team environment.
- Recognizes the importance of quality in providing a competitive edge.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly proficient using MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn and understand the cable industry, regional communities, and customers.
Benefits
The base salary range for this position in Texas is $110,000 - $125,000, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits, and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, geographical area, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Texas and may not be applicable to other locations.
