Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Aid local independent dealerships and customers in achieving sales objectives.
- Create and implement sales strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on the assigned region.
- Offer technical support to sales representatives and customers by reviewing specifications and bid documents, and preparing bid specifications when necessary.
- Develop sales financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating sales requirements, trends, and variances; develop and execute action plans; and measure and analyze results.
- Contribute to the development of new products and modifications to existing products.
- Train new sales representatives on product knowledge.
- Present, conduct demonstrations, and write specifications for local sales representatives.
- Facilitate and assist in customer visits, demonstrations, product advertising, and sales forecasting, including planning conventions and shows.
- Participate in pre-construction, in-process, and final inspection customer visits as needed.
- Generate monthly reports as required, tracking sales volume, goals, sales projections, and activity reports.
- Maintain lead tracking software for all current open deals.
- Attend regional and national trade shows as needed.
- Propose enhancements to the current product offering.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience, is preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
- The candidate should reside within the region territory or be reasonably close to a major airport.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with a standard confidentiality and non-compete agreement.
Qualifications
Must possess mechanical aptitude and be capable of communicating on a technical level. Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills are essential.

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position varies based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay range for roles in California is between $70,304 - $125,000, while in New York it is $67,500– $125,000. The pay for performance philosophy allows top performers to earn more based on their continued success.
