Regional Sales Manager

Purpose
To deliver monthly and annual sales targets through effective execution of sales and marketing programs, while leading, coaching, and developing the regional sales team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of trade plans aligned with corporate objectives
- Partner closely with Key Account Management to identify profitable opportunities and build “Top-to-Top” relationships with key volume accounts
- Lead the regional sales team by setting clear performance metrics and providing ongoing feedback through the company’s performance management system
- Keep senior management informed of key business issues, program performance, competitive activity, and market trends to maximize opportunities and share best practices
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with sales teams to gather and update competitive insights and market intelligence
- Lead all aspects of people management, including recruitment, motivation, and professional development of direct and indirect reports
- Collaborate with and support the Sales Director in delivering sales growth and expanding into new and existing markets to capture business development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required; MBA preferred
- 8–12 years of sales experience within a multinational FMCG organization
- Tobacco industry experience is an advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities
- Self-starter with a proven strong work ethic
