We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who can lead a team and still close business themselves. This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team of 2-3 Business Development Managers across the region while carrying your own book of business. You are the person who builds the culture, sets the standard, and holds the bar. You know how to develop people and how to win accounts. Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Development - Recruit, onboard, and develop your team of Business Development Mangers across the region
- Ride-alongs, 1:1s, and pipeline reviews to coach performance and identify gaps
- Set activity standards and hold the team accountable to CRM hygiene and pipeline discipline
- Identify skill gaps early and drive individual development plans for each rep
- Partner with operations and leadership on headcount, territory design, and market prioritization
- Source new opportunities through direct outreach, local networking, and industry events
- Represent Fortify at trade shows and industry events; convert activity into booked revenue
- Maintain personal and team CRM records; ensure data quality across the region
- Partner with operations to deliver a seamless client experience from first contact through project completion
- Comply with all safety, driving, and jobsite requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years in field sales or account management with a demonstrated track record of building pipeline from scratch
- 2+ years managing or mentoring a sales team, formally or informally
- Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, or the insurance ecosystem is a strong plus
- Excellent coaching, communication, and negotiation skills; confident in front of both clients and your team
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota in a metrics-driven environment
- Valid driver's license and comfort with regular travel across the region
- Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform
