About the role

Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster. The result is a rare "win win" — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running.

As a Regional Sales Director in the Mid-Central Region, you'll report directly to the VP Employer Sales - Mid-Central. The role will deliver strong sales results within the Mid-Central market in the 1,000-9,999 life segment. This is a build-and-close role with real autonomy: you run your own book, take on the hardest deals, and shape how your region wins. Every partner you bring on puts higher-quality, lower-cost care in reach for more members.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue responsibilities for your specific territory within the Mid-Central region, which includes: MI, IN, OH, KY, MD, DC, VA, WV.
  • Own a quarterly quota, delivering on it independently and taking on the most complex and cross-functional deals with minimal support.
  • Build and grow the region's base of brokers and advisors, activating new partners and deepening the highest-producing ones.
  • Personally develop and win the region's most strategic Gold Advisor relationships.
  • Shape territory strategy alongside your partner roles (Enterprise, AE, CR, and peer RDs), sharing what is working across the region.

Requirements

  • Experience in a quota-carrying sales or sales support role.
  • Experience working with benefits brokers and consultants.
  • Experience in health insurance strongly preferred.
  • A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment with notable upside.
  • A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare system.
  • Strong ability to present and communicate a value proposition to external stakeholders.
  • You're energized by a mission with measurable outcomes, not just good intentions.
  • You engage with AI tools as part of how you do your best work, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes that matter beyond your team's metrics.

Benefits

  • Flexible PTO.
  • Medical/Dental/Vision plan options.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Flexible spending accounts.
  • Teladoc Health.
