Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a Regional Sales Director who can generate new business, meet/exceed revenue targets, and support our sales representatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Motivate and advise sales representatives to improve performance
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage sales representatives
- Create and execute comprehensive strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives
- Manage resources to ensure sales and financial objectives are met
- Develop relationships with key internal/external customers
- Create and execute effective strategies to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Develop value-added solutions that meet customer business needs
About The Role
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for achieving quota through the sales team. Key duties include:
- Create and execute comprehensive strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives assigned
- Anticipate internal and external business issues to align priorities, strategies, and tactics
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage sales representatives
- Manage resources to ensure sales and financial objectives are met
- Leverage knowledge of competitive advantage and profit drivers
- Develop relationships with key internal/external customers
- Influence customer and/or organizational leadership through effective listening and communication
- Create and execute effective strategies to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Develop value-added solutions that meet customer business needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of demonstrated successful medical sales experience required, healthcare or business to business sales experience preferred
- At least 3 years Sales Management of direct or independent sales representative experience required
- Ability to travel 75% of time within defined territory
