About the role
As a Regional Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards in the region. You will also lead safety training programs and conduct regular safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety training programs for employees.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Respond to and investigate workplace accidents and incidents.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry-specific safety standards.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
