Regional Safety Manager

About the role

The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines in the assigned region. This includes conducting regular safety audits, training employees on safety protocols, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across the assigned region.
• Develop and implement safety training programs for all employees.
• Oversee the implementation of safety equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
• Respond to and investigate workplace accidents and incidents.
• Collaborate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role.
• Proven track record in managing safety programs and initiatives.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with safety software and databases.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually.
