About the role

The Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team drives continuous improvement and maintains all robotics and material handling equipment to ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves developing quality standards, creating forecasting tools, defining standard work procedures, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop parts cage quality standards by creating work benches, tracking quality data, and vendor defect rates, and building standard work processes for parts quality management
  • Create risk-based forecasting tools to help site maintenance leaders prioritize work based on asset failure probability, and partner with central reliability and RAPA teams to develop tracking automation for audits and parts mechanisms
  • Define RME standard work procedures for maintenance quality, timing, and structure across all sites and providers, while conducting regular field audits to analyze performance against best practices
  • Lead network-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives using AMS Standards and validate new company-wide Program Management (PM) processes that meet safety and effectiveness standards
  • Communicate and deliver presentations to customers, stakeholders, and teammates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
  • 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
  • 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
  • Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
  • PMP certificate
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 80%

Pay

Base salary range: $119,600.00 - $161,700.00 USD annually

Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
