Regional Property Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete weekly property visits and inspections to ensure designated communities are well-maintained, safe, and presented at the highest standard.
  • Monitor maintenance operations, service requests, and turn processes to ensure timely completion and compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies across all sites.
  • Manage portfolio budgets and operating expenses, ensuring performance within approved targets.
  • Review and approve invoices, expenses, and purchasing decisions in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Oversee rent collection, delinquency control, and resident account management while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Support leasing teams to achieve occupancy goals and maintain competitive market positioning.
  • Provide guidance on advertising, outreach, and resident engagement activities to drive renewals and retention.
  • Monitor leasing performance and ensure company standards for customer service and closing ratios are consistently met.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop on-site managers and staff, promoting career growth and strong team performance.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to support skill development and career advancement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and establish clear goals and expectations for each property team.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely submission of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Partner with senior leadership to implement new initiatives and support special projects across the portfolio.
  • Act as the primary liaison between property teams and corporate leadership.
  • Partner with peers and directors to ensure consistency of standards and share best practices across the company.
  • Support onboarding and mentoring for new Property Managers or recently promoted team members.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years with proven success managing multiple multifamily properties in a Regional Property Manager role.
  • Class A community management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of property operations, financial management, leasing strategies, and maintenance oversight.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel weekly to assigned communities (up to 50% travel required).
