Regional Perishable Operations Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Regional Perishable Operations Manager to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will oversee regional fresh operations with a focus on execution, consistency, and profitability across club locations. The ideal candidate will partner closely with senior leadership and club teams to strengthen merchandising programs, improve operational performance, and elevate the customer experience in perishable categories. This position also plays a key role in developing frontline leaders and translating data into actionable regional strategies.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior perishables leadership to execute merchandising programs and marketing campaigns
• Maintain consistent standards in quality, ordering, training, and production across club locations
• Identify areas for improvement in club execution and implement merchandising strategies
• Leverage data to achieve sales and profitability goals for the region
• Utilize analytical tools to generate actionable insights and identify trends
• Develop the skills of club managers and fresh managers to enhance performance
• Establish communication with key teams to align on strategic objectives

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Previous experience in perishable goods merchandising and operations is advantageous

Pay

Compensation: $117,500 – $157,000 annually
