Regional Patient Service Specialist

About the role

This position will support our 7 clinics throughout the suburbs of Cleveland. You will interact with patients from the community and work closely with various parties including attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation services.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation services.
• Manage co-pays, payer approvals, and insurance authorizations and verifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of front desk experience
• Preferred: Insurance verification experience and medical office experience

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes

Pay

$15.00-$18.00/hour pending experience
